Brittany began her yoga journey in 2015 when she turned to meditation to be a guiding light in her life. While working as a teaching assistant in the public school system, she saw the desperate need for yoga and mindfulness in schools and brought her practices to the staff and students. Over the past several years, she has completed both part I and part II of Deep Play for Kids with Missy Brown, and graduated from the Pranotthan Yoga School through All That Matters.

 

Brittany teaches yoga to all ages and abilities, in a way that is playful and relaxed. Her classes are experimental and welcoming and her goal is to invite people to let go of the idea of what yoga should look like, and be open to having their own unique experience. Brittany invites her students to practice yoga on and off of the mat, bringing important tools like focused breathing and mindfulness into their everyday lives. Her belief is that yoga is a practice, and when people make a habit out of using these tools, the benefits can be life changing.

Even though yoga has been practiced for thousands of years, it's still pretty misunderstood in modern times. Many people believe that the benefits of yoga are purely physical, when in reality, yoga provides a wide variety of mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits as well. My goal is to help people of all ages develop the tools and skills they need to feel grounded both on and off the mat.
